An organism that is visible under a microscope can be any micro organisms like the bacteria Diplococcus pneumoniae or Staphylococcus aureus, or unicellular fungi like yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisae). To view these micro organisms under a microscope, the cells have to be prepared accordingly. The microscope needs to be placed in a place free of obstructions, the light is made to fall on the lens in the stage, by readjusting the mirror and bringing the cells in focus.
