An otherwise normal healthy young man started perspiring while it was intensely cold outside.What could have been one reason for it?

From a physiological perspective, if a person perspires in cold weather, the reasons for the same might be — (a) high blood pressure (b) Hyper tension (c) Cardiac arrest . From a dermatological view point, the reason behind his perspiration is that our hypothalamus detects the drop in the blood temperature and produces responses. Our body starts secreting adrenaline hormone which increases the metabolic rate and in turn increases the heat production.
