An unbalanced equation defies the law of conservation of matter which states that matter can neither be created nor destroyed but can only be converted from one form to another. Unbalance equation implies that matter is created/destroyed which is impossible. Hence an unbalanced equation is considered incorrect.

Answer: An unbalanced chemical equation is no equation because no. of atoms in reactant is equals to the no. of atoms in product. If the equation is unbalanced, it means no. of atoms in reactant is not equals to the no. of atoms in product.
