F = M (A)

Mass of unloaded truck = 2000kg

Max.accelaration = 0.5 m/s^2

max. force applied by truck = 2000(0.5)N =1000N

Max. force that can be applied by truck is 1000N in any case.

when 2000kg load is carried by the truck its mass is 2000 + 2000 kg =4000kg

F = M (A)

A = F/M

A = 1000/4000

A = 1/4 m/s^2

A = 0.25 m/s^2
