Answer:

641/1224 = 0.52369

Step-by-step explanation:

Since , an urn contains 4 white , 6 black  and 8 red balls;

So, the total ball in the urn is 18 balls;

According to the question;

3 balls are random from the urn, we have to find the probability of getting all white ball;

Probability of getting white in first attempt is 4/18.

probability of getting white in second attempt from the remaining 3 white ball will be 3/17.

probability of getting white in third attempt from the remaining 3 white ball will be 2/16.

So, the total probability will be sum of all the probabilities i.e 4/18 + 3/17 + 2/16

= 641/1224

0.52369

Hence , the probability would be 641/1224 = 0.52369
