The following are the effects of national emergency on the people of India:
1) deprivation of fundamental rights to the citizens: as the national emergency is declared, every citizen is deprived of his fundamental right and there are restrictions imposed on every person.
If a person goes against these restrictions imposed, he will have to the face the consequences.
2) restriction on any kind of media: media also is something which gets restricted at the times of emergency. Transmission of any kind of information during emergency period is strictly prohibited and that is why there are restrictions on media.
