population. The three important components of food security are: availability, access, and absorption (nutrition). These three are interrelated. The major aim of this paper is to examine the performance in food security in India in respect of these three components.

For this India has made many schemes some of are...

√ Public distribution system

It is that system which distributed the food grains at the minimum prices to the below poverty line people of the country ..

By this the high % of Indian population get out of the problem of starvation and get its food...

√ Nutrition programs

As Integrated child development services was launched , to ensure the sufficient nutrition level in the child to gave them full nourishment..

It being very helpful to avoid the malnutrition problem in children...

Critically analysis :-))

Some of the mediators can't be get the full profit of this programs to direct public and hacked their resources ..

So this practice should be stopped as food is the basic element of life and everybody should get it..
