As an outcome of the war, the Allies formed the United Nations, an institution for global collaboration and discretion, similar to the League of Nations. Members of the United Nations accepted to outlaw conflicts of invasion in an effort to withdraw from the circumstances from the third world war.

The devastated big authorities of Western Europe established the European Coal and Steel Community, which later on developed into the European Economic Community and eventually into the contemporary European Union. This efforts also help Germany and France by financial assistance and alliance, and public demand for significant natural resources.

The outcome of the war also strengthened the pace of decolonization from the royal powers with autonomy being conferred to, Indonesia from the Netherlands, the Philippines from the US, India from the United Kingdom and various Arab nations, essentially from special powers which had been conferred to great powers from League of Nations.
