GIVEN :- An ice cream cone has a radius of 4 cm. and a height of 9 cm.

ASKED :- What is it's volume ?

DRAWING OF THE FIGURE :- Refer to image .

FORMULA :-

  • Volume of cone = (1/3) * π * (radius)² * height .
  • π = 3.14

SOLUTION/ANSWER :-

putting value of radius and height in formula we get,

→ Volume of ice cream cone = (1/3) * 3.14 * (4)² * 9

→ Volume of ice cream cone = 3.14 * 16 * 3

→ Volume of ice cream cone = 3.14 * 48

→ Volume of ice cream cone = 150.72 cm³ (Ans.)
