1 rupee = 100 p

Therefore 100-x = 4x

100 = 4x+x

100 = 5x

100/5 = x

20 = x

So, he gave paise in total - paise had before

= 20 - 10

=10

Answer:

12 paise

Step-by-step explanation:

'X' be the number of paise that Anand gives to bindu

Anand will have (100-x) paise, and Bindu will have (10+X) paise,

Given, Anand will have 4 times as much as Bindu

=> 100-X = 4(10+x)

=> 100-X = 40+4X

=>4X+X+40-100

=>5X=60

=>X=12

Anand gives 12 paise to Bindu.
