SOLUTION TURN RED LITMUS TO BLUE WHICH MEANS  THE GIVEN SOLUTION IS BASIC IN NATURE SO TO REVERSE THE CHANGE WE NEED TO MIX THIS SOLUTION WITH ACID WHICH NEUTRALIZE THE GIVEN SOLUTION BUT IN ORDER TO REVERSE THE CHANGE WE MIX THE SOLUTION WITH EXCESS OF ACID WHICH REVERSE THE CHANGE.
