Stem of Pinus:The cambium cuts off secondary xylem on the inner side and secondary phloem on the outer side. The zones are traversed by medullary rays which too develops from cambium. The secondary xylem shows well marked annual growth rings. Each growth ring having zones of Autumn and Spring wood.
