Major role of Education setup in promoting ideal democratic setup:
The aim of education during a democratic society is to establish the values of cooperation, fairness and justice in the hearts of our students.
I argue that this value sector unit is necessary to maintain and enhance functioning democracy in any country. In India, our democracy is in serious desire of an organization. We have followed the pace with us in making the general public smart in the last forty years.
Democracy is not for the faint of heart and to keep the voters of any country safe. Our faculties should have places where students have a voice to be explored and be ready to take action on the problems they care about.
If our adults and the education system have a tendency to limit or silence the voices of students, then we have the tendency of the field unit condemning our democracy to fall for excess. It is time for us to shift towards a democratic approach to education in our school rooms and faculties. If we do not, our democracy and every single person can suffer for it.
