Answer:

Ramu and his family

I am a poor boy named Ramu. I live with my mother and younger sister as my father died when I was a kid. My mother earns very little by selling fruits, which does not satisfy our hunger.

Ramu finds a purse

One day we had no food and I was very hungry. As I was walking down the road, I saw a small beautiful purse. I took the purse and opened it happily. There was a ten rupee note inside and a small photo of a lady.

I was happy to have found the ten rupee note. Now I could buy something for me and my sister to eat. But a voice in my head told me to me to return the purse to the owner. I was worried and confused but finally decided to return the purse, ignoring my hunger.

Returning the purse to the owner

I found an address at the back of the photo and reached the house which was few streets away. As I knocked at the door, I could hear a small girl cry loudly. An old woman opened the door and inquired me. The woman took the purse happily to the small girl, who was overjoyed on seeing the photo. The lady explained that the small girl was adopted and it was the photo of her mother, whom she had lost at a very small age. It was her treasure.

Honesty Rewarded

I was happy to have helped the small girl. The lady thanked me and gifted me with many toys and eatables. She also requested me to visit the girl often. Thus I realized the importance of honesty and truthfulness.
