angiosperm and gymnosperm bear seeds but why the are classified separately

gymno have naked seeds that is they are not enclosed by fruits where as angiosperms have seed inside fruit..

angio means closed n sperm means seed n gymno means naked seed.
also angio aperms are flowering plants.
n gymnosperms doesnot produce flowers.
