Gymnosperms are the plants which have naked seed and are pernnial, evergreen, and woody. They are phanerogames. Female and male cones are separate in these. Eg:-- cycas and pinus.

Angiosperms are also called flowering plants as they have flowers. Seeds are covered with fruit. Seed have leaf like structure called cotyledons. On the base of number of cotyledons there can be monocot and dicot.
Eg:-- Mango tree,Orange tree.
