Given:

vector = √3i+j

To Find:

angle made by vector with x-axis

Solution:

we have,

A= √3i+j

we know,

if  V = xi + yj

then tanФ = y/x   (Ф is the angle between vector and x-axis)

tanФ = 1/√3

tanФ = tan30°

Ф= 30°

So, the Angle made by the vector √3i+j with the X-axis is 30°.
