Question:

The angle of a parallelogram is 60° . Find the other angle.

Hints : Sum of four angles of quadrilateral is 360°.

Given:

  • 1 one of parallelogram is 60°.

To Find:

  • The rest 3 angles of parallelogram.

Solution:

Let x be the 2nd , 3rd and 4th angle of parallelogram.

According to the question:

60° + x + x + x = 360°.

60° + 3x = 360°

3x = 360 - 60°

3x = 300°

x = 300° / 3

x = 100°.

hence , the value of x = 100°.

1st angle = 60°.

2nd angle = 100°

3rd angle = 100°

4th angle = 100°

________________________

100° + 100° + 100° + 60° = 360°

360° = 360°
