angle of elevation of a ladder leaning against a wall is 60 degree and the foot of a ladder is 9.5 away from the word find the length of the ladder

Hey...!

Here the ladder and the wall is inclined to the wall and is forming a right traingle ABC where angle C is 90°

Distance of the ladder from wall = BC = 9.5

lenght of wall = AC

therefore,

Tan60° = AC/BC

root 3 = AC/9.5

9.5×(root3) = AC

9.5 × 1.73 = 16.435 = AC

So. the answer is 16.435 m.
