Angles of a quadrilateral are 85o, 95o, xo and (x + 10)o. Find the value of x.

Answer:

Let the required quadrilateral be ABCD

:. A = 85° , B = 95° , C = x° , D = (x + 10)°

We know that,

angle A + B + C + D = 360° - Measure of all angles of a Quad.

85° + 95° + x + x+10 = 360°

190° + 2x = 360°

2x = 360 - 190

2x = 170

x = 170/2

x = 85°

:. angle C = 85°

:. angle D = x + 10 = 85 + 10

:. D = 95°
