Angles x-30 and x+40 are complementary find the angles

Heya !!!

First angle = X - 30


And,

Second angle = X + 40


As we know that sum of two complementary angles is always equal to 90°.



Therefore,



( X - 30 ) + ( X + 40 ) = 90



2X + 10 = 90



X = 90-10/2



X = 40°


First angle = X - 30 = 40-30 = 10°


And,



Second angle = X + 40 = 40° + 40° = 80°

Since angles are complementary so
x+40+x-30=90
2x+10=90
2x=80
x=40
So the angle is
40-30=10
40+40=80
