anhydrous copper sulphate greyish white if kept in open in the mouth of July ,changes to the blue colour why?

rishantsoni: Yes.. That's rgt because in month of July there will be hot climate which make copper sulphate to lose its water molecules and its color will fade.. Hope this will helpful

Pritishaa: No. Anhydrous copper sulphate does not have water of crystallisation and it is greyish white in colour. It turns blue when has water of crystallisation.
rishantsoni: So the water vapour present in atmosphere react with the anhydrous salt and it will gain blue colour
