you are right, but how do we experiment without animals? Even if we clone the animals, they are now animals too. we can do experiment one animals but not the one which are endangered or about to be an endangered species. Maybe with the one which are a lot in number and we can use criminals in jail as experimental objects according to the crimes they've done. If we aren't supposed to do experiments on animals, we aren't supposed to eat chicken and mutton also. The last sentence doesn't suits you if you are a vegan. I hope I didn't tell anything wrong.
