Plastids contains chloroplasts which contains chlorophyll. chlorophyll is essential for the process of photosynthesis...
So if there will be no photosynthesis than plant can't prepare food which is essential for survival of Mankind..
Therefore Animals indirectly depend upon Plastids.. Other than this supply of oxygen which supports life on earth, is just coz of photosynthesis..
So here I one more interdependence on plastids..
Hope it helps you buddy..

Hey!
Plastids has Chloroplasts in them, and Chloroplasts contains chlorophyll in them, chlorophyll is essential for the process of photosynthesis, photosynthesis is the process through which green plants make their own food using sunlight and other essential products, and through photosynthesis, plants are alive
And we know that plants have a very essential role in our lives , they give us the life supporting gas, oxygen which all animals breathe in, thus all the animals depend on plastids in plants.
Hope it helps...!!!
