Answer:

Answer is Rs. 20,400

Step-by-step explanation:

SP = 15300

CP = SP + Loss

So here it says , Sp is sold with 25% loss , so we can apply a method called box method  :

I   CP        I    SP        I

I   100%   I      75%    I

I      X      I 15,300      I            here sp is taken as 75% due to loss of 25% from the SP.

so in this method , as shown above , we draw a box with two columns and in Cp , we write 100% and down below 'X' as we haven't found it yet. In Sp , we write , 75% and down below Rs. 15 , 300 .

Now we cross-multiply ,

15,300 × 100 = 75 × X

so X  = 15300 × 100  (cancel wherever possible ) = 5100 × 4 = RS.20,400

                  75

So Anjali bought the computer for Rs. 20, 400

hope it helps :)
