Anjali was celebrating her birthday and had invited her
friends over for her birthday party. Anjali's mother
switched on the electric cooker for making pulao, started
the electric oven for baking the birthday cake and left the
kitchen for a while. Meanwhile, grandma switched on the
induction stove to make puris without realizing that all
three appliances were connected to the same power point.
Suddenly the power went off. Anjali's mother immediately
checked with their neighbours and found that the power
failure was only in their house and so called the society
electrician to restore the power supply.

1. Because there was too much load of electricity because many things were using the electricity at the same time so the power went off!!

because of too many devices using the electricity the fuse probably broke .the fuse is a device that prevents more amount electricity from going into the devices .the electrician could have simply replaced the fuse
