anju's mummy bought two pieces of cheese,one weighing 7/8 of a kg and the other weighing 6/8 of a kg.how many kg did the two pieces weigh together?

(7/8)*1000 grams=1st piece

(6/8)*1000 grams=2nd piece

(7/8)*1000=875 grams

(6/8)*1000 =750 grams

total=875+750=1625 grams=1.625 kg
