Sir,
Subject: Expressing my views on the 'Odd-Even Formula'.
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I found a report on the burning issue of the 'Odd-Even Formula'. I would also like to express my views regarding it.
The unending pollution in our city is distressing and harmful for all of us in every way. Though, Delhi government has made a proper way of regulation of the vehicles, it is not comfortable for people. The busy people of Delhi can't cope up with such immediate changes. Hence, there should be some government shows, blogs and advertisements for real need for cleanup of Delhi.
There should be several electronic or CNG buses to help school students and office workers. There should be encouragement rewards for cycling persons to motivate people. Certain programs and days in week to be fixed for no usage of petroleum using vehicles. Imposition of fines and attention of police towards the follow-up of rules need to be determined. More and more scientists and metrologists should be encouraged to share their expert views and thoughts.
In these ways, if initiative comes from every side, it will make our Delhi a clean place tomorrow.
I hope that my views would be quite helpful for others people to be read in your esteemed newspaper.
Thanking You.
Yours faithfully

Subject: Need to introduce the odd-even scheme for vehicular traffic
Sir:
I am writing this letter to express my deep concern over the ever increasing vehicular pollution. The number of vehicles have been rising drastically in all the cities in India. It is estimated that approximately 217.7 tons of carbon monoxide is emitted in all the metropolitan cities. Similarly, 66.7 tons of hydrocarbons are released in the air every day. Other pollutants such as lead, Sulphur dioxide, and particulate matter are released into the air.
These pollutants cause many serious health hazards such as cough, nausea, headache, irritation of eyes, various bronchial and visibility problems. The Government must introduce odd even formula to overcome this problem. One day all vehicles with odd registration numbers should be allowed and the next day all even numbers. The Government must ban very old vehicles; the Government must also start providing electrical vehicles to people at subsidized cost. People must also adopt pollution free vehicles.
I appeal to the Government to implement odd-even scheme for vehicular traffic at the earliest. Kindly give my views enough space in the columns of your esteemed daily.
Thanking you.
Yours truly,
Nirmala
