Equation - y = mx + c

Given,

• 6x + 2y = 7

=⟩ 2y = - 6x + 7

=⟩ y = -6x/2 + 7/2

=⟩ y = -3x + 7/2

therefore,

• m = -3

Point (3,5)

Now put all the values in the equation,

• y = mx + c
• 5 = -3×3 + c
• 5 = -9 + c
• 5 + 9 = c
• 14 = c

So,

The value of c = 14.
