The complete question is:

1. The wheel barrow at rest containing stones has a force of 1000 N. A man  exerted a push of 500 N.

a. Will he able to move the wheel barrow?

b. Suppose another man tried to help him and exerted a force of 500N. Will

they able to move the wheel barrow?

C. Another man saw their struggle in pushing the wheel barrow. He tried to help them. He exerted a force of 400 N. will the three of them move the wheel barrow?

Given:

Force exerted by the stones = 1000N

Force exerted by man = 500N

To find:

Whether the wheel barrow will move or not in the three cases.

Solution:

A) The man will not be able to move the wheel barrow alone.

B) When the other man helped him and exerted a force of 500N, then also they wouldn't be ale to move the heel barrow, since their force is not greater than the weight of the stones.

C) If one more man joined them, and exerted a force of 400N, then the three of them can move the barrow. As the total force would be 1400N which is greater than the weight of the stones.
