Another OG riddle!

Can be hard, can be soft. Break with a finger, break with a rock. On the door, on the floor. Bury it and you might get more. Not a pillow but you sleep on it. Not a plate but you eat on it.

It's wood of course. Wood as a twig is soft but when it's a plank, it's way much hard. It's obviously seen on the door and on the floor. We sleep on the bed made of it, and eat on the wooden table too.

Don't tell me I'm right, because I know it!!
