10-If platelets are absent in blood then if we have a injury our blood will not stop from flowing and will lead to death. 11-Transpiration is important for plants because it creates a suction pull upwards against gravity which help plant to absorb and transport nutrients and water in their body. 12-Sorry don't know. 13-Veins have thick walls as compared to arteries because arteries carry oxygenated blood which carry many nutrients so they need protection whereas veins carry deoxygenated blood and needs to be out of body so they have thin covering.
