Given :

  • Initial velocity (u) = 10 m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 25 m/s
  • Time (t) = 5 seconds

To find :

  • Acceleration (a)

According to the question,

In this question we will use Newton's first equation of motion,

v = u + at

Where,

  • v stands for Final velocity
  • u stands for Initial velocity
  • t stands for Time
  • a stands for Acceleration

Substituting the values,

→ 25 = 10 + a × 5

→ 25 - 10 = 5a

→ 15 = 5a

→ 15 ÷ 5 = a

→ 3 = a

.°. The acceleration is 3 m/s²...

Given :-

☄ Initial velocity, u = 10 m/s

☄ Final velocity, v = 25 m/s

☄ Time, t = 5 sec

To find :-

Acceleration during the period

Solution :-

using equation of motion .i.e.,

v = u + at

➠ 25 = 10 + (a)(5)

➠ 25 - 10 = 5a

➠ 15 = 5a

➠ a = 15/5

a = 3m/s²

thus, the acceleration is 3 m/s²
