AnSwer :
We have given that,
- p(x) = 5x - 4x² + 3
And we need to find the value of the give polynomial at x = 0 and x = 2
To solve this problem we have to just simply replace the value of 0 in place of x in case where x = 0. So, Let's solve it :
↠p(x) = 5x - 4x² + 3
↠p(0) = 5(0) - 4(0)² + 3
↠p(0) = 0 - 4 × 0 + 3
↠p(0) = 0 - 0 + 3
↠p(0) = 3
- Hence,the value of given polynomial 5x - 4x² + 3 at x = 0 is 3.
Similarly, taking x = 2 and simply plug the value of x in above given polynomial :
↠p(x) = 5x - 4x² + 3
↠p(2) = 5(2) - 4(2)² + 3
↠p(2) = 10 - 4 × 4 + 3
↠p(2) = 10 - 16 + 3
↠p(2) = -6 + 3
↠p(2) = -3
- Hence,the value of given polynomial 5x - 4x² + 3 at x = 2 is -3.
