Let the fraction be x/y,

Now according the question,

(x+1)/(y+1) = 4/5,
=> Cross multiplying,
=> 5x + 5 = 4y + 4,
=> 4y - 5x = 1 ..........(1),

Now according to the question again,

(x-5)/(y-5) = 1/2,
=> Cross multiplying,
=> 2x - 10 = y - 5,
=> 2x - y = 5 ..........(2),

Solving (1) and (2) for getting the values of x and y,

Do (1) - 4*(2) To get the answer,
4y - 5x = 1,
8x -4y = 20, Adding both of them,
=> 3x = 21,
=> x = 7, Substituting this in equation (2),

=> 14 - y = 5,
=> y = 9,

So therefore the required fraction is 7/9,

Hope you understand, Have a great day !
