a) X = Mg3N2

b) 3Mg + N2 -----> Mg3N2

Mg3N2 + 6H2O(warm) ---> 3Mg(OH)2 + 2NH3

Hello there...
I'm Rajdeep!!

According to the reaction A,
N2 + 3Mg ----> Mg3N2
So X is Mg3N2 or magnesium nitride.

Mg3N2 + 6H2O -------> 2NH3 + 3Mg(OH)2
So the another compound mentioned is Magnesium hydroxide.

The third reaction:
2NH3 + 3CuO -----> 3Cu + 3H2O + N2

Hope this helps..
