In the given fig. the resistances 6 ohm,3 ohm and 2 ohm are parallel

so, the equivalent resistance=1 ohm

now taking the circuit in which the ammeter is attached,

R=1+4=5 ohm and V=2v ⇒I=V/R=2/5=0.4 Ampere
