Area of trapezium = 248 sq. m
Height = 8m
Let one side be x .
Other parallel side would be x +4
We know that Area of trapezium = 1/2 × height × sum of parallel sides
248 = 1/2 × 8 × (x+x+4)
2x+4 = 62
2x = 58
x = 29
Two parallel sides are 29 and 33

Let,
two sides of the trapezium will be x
now, given
area of trapezium= 248msq.
height= 8 m
one parallel side= smaller than the other
other parallel side= 4 m
to find it's both parallel sides we have to put the formula of area of trapezium i.e. half× (sum of it's parallel sides) × height
248 = 1/2 × (4m + xm ) × 8m
hope it helps:-)
