<b>Heya mate ^_^. Solution below
====================================

<u>Question -</u> Mr. Grover stayed in a hotel for two days. The room rent was 3,500 Rs. per day. He also had to play a luxury tax of 7% on room rent. How much did he play in all for two days' stay?

<u>Solution -</u>

Room rent of the hotel room for 1 day = 3,500 Rs.

Luxury tax to be paid for 1 day
= 7% of room rent
= 7/100 × 3500
= 245

Hence, total money to be paid for one day

= room rent + luxury tax
= 3500 + 245
= 3,745

Hence, total money to be paid for 1 day = 3,745 Rs.

Now,

Mr Grover stayed in the room for 2 days. So, total money to be paid

= 2 × money to be paid for 1 day
= 2 × 3745
= 7490

<u>Hence, the total money paid by Me Grover in his two days' stay = 7490 Rs.</u>
