Answer:

In ∆ PQR

QR= 12

SR= 4

QS+SR= QR. (Q-S-R)

QS+ 4= 12

QS= 12-4

QS= 8

1. A(∆PSR)/A(∆PQR)= SR/QR. triangles with equal height

= 4/12

= 1/3

2. A(∆ PQS)/A(∆ PQR) = QS/QR. triangles with equal height

= 8/12

= 2/3

3. A(∆PQS)/A(∆PSR) = QS/ SR. triangles with common height

= 8/4

= 2
