XY = XZ (given)
YP = QZ (given)
and /_XPY = /_XQZ ( angel opposite to equal. side are equal )
so by SAS rule,
triangle XPY congruent to triangle XQZ
therefore,
XP = XQ ( CPCT)
2. AL = 6 cm
and BL = DM
so in triangle BAL and triangle DCM,
DM = BL ( given )
angle BAL = angle DCM ( given)
and, angle BLA = angle DMC
so by ASA rule,
BAL congruent to DCM
therefore AL = CM ( CPCT)
so, CM = 6cm
:. CM + AL = LM
6 + 6 = 12
so, LM = 12cm
3. angle A = angle P
and angle C = angle R
4. Two rectangles are congruent if they have same size and same shape
