Q1. Subtract 2x² - 5x + 10 from 5x² - 11x + 19

Solution :-

2x² - 5x + 10 - 5x² - 11x + 19

→ 2x² - 5x² - 5x - 11x + 10 + 19

→ - 3x² - 16x + 29

Q2. Two adjacent sides of a rectangle are 3x² - 5y² and 7x² - xy. Find the perimeter.

Solution :-

Length = 3x² - 5y²

Breadth =  7x² - xy

Perimeter = 2( length + breadth)

= 2( 3x² - 5y² + 7x² - xy)

= 2(10x² - 5y²- xy)

= 20x²- 10y² - 2xy

Q3. Add a + b and 3a + 2b

Solution :-

a + b + 3a + 2b

→ 4a + 4b

Solution :-
