1. Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 180cm

=>3a = 180

=>a= 180/3

=>a = 60

Side of equilateral triangle = 60cm

Area of equilateral = √3a^2/4 => 1558.85 cm^2

2. Let the sides be 17x, 25x,12x

Perimeter = 540

17x+25x+12x = 540

54x = 540

x = 10

Sides of triangle = 170cm, 250cm, 120cm

Area of triangle by Herons formula

=>9000cm^3

(I cannot write the formula so here's the

answer directly)

3. First of all,

The triangle PSQ is a right angled triangle, so by Pythagoras theorem,

PS^2+SQ^2 = PQ^2

144+256 = PQ^2

400= PQ^2

So, PQ = 20cm

Area of triangle PSQ = 1/2×b×h

=>1/2×12×16

=>96cm^2

Area of triangle PQR by Heron's formula

=> 480cm^2

Area of shaded region

=>Area triangle PQR - Area triangle PSQ

=>480-96

=>384cm^2

Cheers!
