Answer:

Force acting on a body is said to be non conservative in nature if the work done by the force in moving the body from one position to another depends upon the path followed by it.

Example:

The frictional force is always non-conservative in nature.

If the body is moved from position A to B on a rough surface and on a smooth surface. Then work done will be greater on the rough surface.
