Answer:-

Given:-

  • Home is 12.5 km from office and office is 11.5 km from market.

  • Tushar went from home to shop and from there to market.

  • Shop is 9.4 km from home and market is 11.8 km from shop.

Solution :-

Rahil travelled =12.5+11.5 =24 km

Tushar travelled= 9.4 + 11.8=21.2 km

Rahil travel more by 24-21.2=2.8 km

 \displaystyle\huge\red{\underline{\underline{Solution}}}

Rahil's home is 12. 5km from office

Rahil's office is 11.5 km from market

Now Rahil went from home to office and from there to market

So Rahil travels distance of (12.5 + 11.5) = 24 \: \: km

Now Tushar's shop is 9.4 km from home

Tushar's market is 11.8 km from market km from market

Now Tushar went from home to shop and from there to market and from there to market

So Tushar travelsdistance of (9.4 + 11.8) = 21.2 \: \: km

Since 24 > 21.2

So Rahil travels more distance than Tushar and the distance is(24 - 21.2) = 2.8 \: \: km

So Rahil travels 2.8 km more distance than Tushar
