Find the number of hours in 1 week:

1 week = 7 x 24 = 168 hours

Find the amount of time lost in the first week:

1/2 % of 168 hours = 0.005 x 168 hour = 50 mins and 24 seconds

Find the amount of time gain in second week:

1/4 % of 168 hours = 0.0025 x 168 hours = 25 min 12 seconds

Find the net loss over the two weeks:

Loss = 50 mins and 24 seconds - 25 min 12 seconds

Loss = 25 mins and 12 seconds

Find the time on the clock after 2 weeks:

12 o'clock - 25 mins 12 seconds =  11 : 34 : 48 seconds

Answer: (a)  11 : 34

Loss=0.005×7×24=0.84 hours
Gain=0.42 hours

Overall loss=0.42 hours=25 minutes 12 seconds
So, time shown at the end of second week=11.34 a.m.
i.e., 11 hours 34 minutes 48 seconds

Hence, the correct option is (1)
