Given :  rectangle 10 cm long and 8 cm wide.

To find : Perimeter of   rectangle  using formula

Solution:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( length + width)

given  rectangle 10 cm long and 8 cm wide

=> Length of rectangle = 10 cm

  Width of Rectangle = 8 cm

=> Perimeter of a rectangle =  2(10 + 8)

=>  Perimeter of a rectangle =  2(18)

=>  Perimeter of a rectangle =  36 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle =  36 cm
