A)  Mr. ... Toad is intelligent, creative and resourceful; however, he is also narcissistic, self-centred almost to the point of sociopathy, and completely lacking in even the most basic common sense. His reckless interest in motor cars leads to an episode in which he steals one and drives it recklessly.

C) The tom cat said the narrator that he didnot know the outer world and tom cat would help him to understand it. The narrator gracefully accepted as he never had a cat friend before

D) The lost child loses interest in the things he had wanted earlier because he got lost in the fair. He is panic-stricken for being lost.

B)This is a beautiful poem on a scarecrow who is very busy as well as doubtful. He alway see the birds and the weather , he doesn't know how the season come and go and he suprised too to see the change in climate .

H) The Lost Child is a story written by Mulk Raaj Anand. In this story there was a child who was visiting a spring fair. He got attracted to many things in the fair like - the garlands or gulmohar , sweets , balloons and toys etc.

When he reached near the roundabout. He wanted to have a ride on it . He asked his parents for a ride , having no response on thier part the child started crying. He came to know that he was lost there.
