Given :-

It is given that :

  • Length of the rectangle = \tt 3\dfrac{2}{4}m
  • Breadth of the rectangle = \tt 2\dfrac{1}{4}m

To find :-

We bave to find the area and perimeter of the rectangle.

Solution :-

  • Length = \tt 3\dfrac{2}{4}m=\dfrac{7}{2}m
  • Breadth = \tt 2\dfrac{1}{4}m=\dfrac{9}{4}m

Area of a rectangle = Length × Breadth

\tt Area = \dfrac{7}{2}\times\dfrac{9}{4}

\tt Area=\dfrac{63}{8}m^2

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

\tt Perimeter = 2(\dfrac{7}{2}m+\dfrac{9}{4}m)

\tt Perimeter = 2(\dfrac{14+9}{4}m

\tt Perimeter = 2(\dfrac{23}{4}m)

\tt Perimeter = \dfrac{23}{2}m
