I think it should be 4.Not 4^2. If it is 4^2 then it will be x = 48 and y = 1 i.e x + y = 49

The correct answer is 19
But how?
If xil is 16 and y is 3 they said to add then if wr add x+y then we get 19

x/3=16/y=16
x/3=16/y=16=k(let us say)
x/3=k and 16/y=k
x=k*3. and y=k/16
x=16*3 and y=16/16
x=48 and y=1
x+y=49
x/3=16/y=16=k(let us say)
x/3=k and 16/y=k
x=k*3. and y=k/16
x=16*3 and y=16/16
x=48 and y=1
x+y=49
Even I got the same answer. But that answer is not in the list
